Monica is an award-winning public relations leader with over a decade of experience in Canada and the United States. She specializes in Canadian media relations and is passionate about luxury, sports, live events, and consumer goods. Rossa PR started in the wine & spirits vertical and Monica is currently researching the growth of the non-alcoholic beverage market under the tutelage of Dr. Joanne McNeish at Toronto Metropolitan University. Keep an eye out for our marketing teaching cases – coming to a university classroom near you!

In her limited spare time, Monica teaches at Conestoga College, Guelph-Humber University and lectures at her alma matter, Western University. She is the President of New York University’s Alumni in Toronto Club and is actively involved in the Canadian-Ukrainian community through the Vesnivka Ukrainian Women’s Choir. Monica is an NCCP Coach (in training) and is working toward certification to help foster a love of sport among girls. Monica spends most weekends throughout the summer volunteering at regattas throughout Ontario as an Associate Umpire for Rowing Canada Aviron.

Monica graduated from New York University with a Master’s of Science in Public Relations Management. She is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Western University’s honours cohort of the Media, Information and Technoculture program with a Minor in Music. She also completed a Certificate in Digital Communication: Social Media and Virtual Worlds with distinction. Monica continues a routine of professional training and is Canada’s youngest woman to achieve the Accredited in Public Relations designation from the Canadian Public Relations Society. She also completed the International Association of Public Participation designation in Stakeholder Engagement. Monica is a level three candidate with London’s prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust and is now pursuing leadership training at the Ivey School of Business.
